Theodore Roosevelt (b. October 27, 1858 – d. January 6, 1919) was the 26th President of the United States. During this time, we were deciding what to do with the land won from the Spanish-American War. Roosevelt introduced a policy for protecting our national parks, making him a favorite with Presidential buffs. He also had a son, Theodore Roosevelt Jr.
